TRAUMA THERAPIST
Integrating psychotherapy with land-based ceremonies and rituals to guide you through untimely loss, grief, trauma, and profound change.
When grief, trauma, and change leave you feeling untethered, I offer grounded support to help you reconnect with yourself, your purpose, and your sense of belonging. Combining psychotherapy with Indigenous-informed, land-based healing practices, my work honours the wisdom of your body, mind, spirit, and community.
I combine psychotherapy with land-based healing and ceremony to support your whole being: mind, body, spirit, and community. With more than 15 years of experience, I have walked alongside people navigating trauma, grief, identity shifts, sudden change, and untimely losses.
Healing after these moments is rarely straightforward. Many people tell me they struggle to move forward, not because they are resistant, but because guilt, shame, cultural expectations, or shifting identities make it hard to stay connected to what feels authentic.
That is why I work with both psychotherapy and ceremony. Each supports you in coming home to yourself, not who you “should” be, but who you genuinely are.
Psychotherapy offers a place to understand your inner world with clarity and compassion. It helps you explore:
Through this work, your story becomes clearer and you gain the language and insight needed to reconnect with your authentic voice.
Ceremony speaks to the parts of you that cannot be reached through words alone. It offers grounding and symbolic acknowledgment during moments of change, while inviting you to reconnect with your most honest and embodied self.
Ceremony can help you:
These practices encourage you to show up as yourself — not shaped by guilt or expectation, but rooted in what feels real, respectful, and aligned.
Therapy helps you understand what is happening inside you. Ceremony helps you feel it, honour it, and respond in a way that is authentically yours.
When combined, they:
In simple terms:
therapy clears the mind, ceremony heals the heart, and together they help you move through life with clarity, courage, and authenticity.
An integrated approach gives you space to feel grounded, to honour what happened, and to choose your next steps from a place of authenticity. Many clients tell me they finally feel supported not only in their thoughts and emotions, but also in their identity, values, and sense of self.
When you’re feeling overwhelmed by sadness, anxiety, or past traumas, psychotherapy can help you navigate your emotions and experiences with care. I offer a safe space to process what feels heavy, understand the roots of your suffering, and cultivate a sense of stability within.
My approach combines talk therapy with practices that honour your mind, body, spirit, and relationships, helping you rebuild your life with greater self-awareness and inner peace.
